Macala Bartucci

Macala Bartucci is a dedicated, passionate, and ever-evolving dance artist. She began her early dance training at the Dance and Music Academy under the direction of Krissie Odegard Geye and Carrie Patterson, and then in 2025, went on to graduate from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance. During her time in Colorado, Macala had the privilege of working on multiple projects with gracegallagherdance, a collective that aims to make dance accessible, unite communities, and empower emerging artists. After graduation, Macala moved back to Chicago, where she joined Solarium as a performing apprentice and the Evanston Dance Ensemble as the Assistant to the Artistic Director. She is beyond grateful for the opportunity to perform with Solarium in their fourth season!
